Seems I need a 2860.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

I have achieved those results on a never opened 1.6L with a 2560, also using E85.

and a NitroDann 3" exhaust and whatever else needs to go with it. Plenty else to sort first though, including driver ability upgrades.davekmoore wrote:Seems I need a 2860.

Dann,
Mine has an AVO manifold and down pipe and 2.5" exhaust. These might be the limiting elements? I also don't think the current tune pushes the limits - I asked for it to be set up conservatively.

Re: How many RWKW do you have with what mods?
The one I posted about is an NA6, AVO everything including original manifold, intake, cooler, and GT2560 turbo, except a seperated gases downpipe, and 3" exhaust. E85. And about 18psi of boost at peak.
Yours is probably very very conservative, drives nice and will last just about forever.

Sorry forgot to check back on this thread.
It was brilliant... Until it went bang and disintegrated exhaust side of the turbo lol. Tuned on 98, replacement turbo is almost installed and it will be lowered to 12-ish psi for obvious reasons. I will be doing a turbo upgrade in about 6 - 9 months.

Thanks for that. Will keep my IHI at 12psi then. An earlier incarnation of the same car ran 16psi on a non-hi-flowed IHI. The turbo survived 90,000kms of that at 174rwkw including half a dozen track days but the bottom end grenaded.

140kw
Stock B6
BEGI manifold
T28 from a s14 running max of 12 psi
DIY divorced dump pipe
2.5 inch exhaust
2inch piping to intercooler
2.5inch intercooler
2.5inch piping from intercooler to TB
MAC valve
Turbo smart 25mm BOV
After looking through what was needed to increase power and keep it NA, the cost was too excessive for my needs.
Tried supercharging which was fun but turbo packs more kick and is quieter on the street.

I managed about 145kw and remained naturally aspirated, cost was not excessive.

Geez, that must be on the limit for the rods. Very impressive for a stock donk.
