Things work together in unison. When you buy separate products to perform a cohesive function, chances are they won't work as well. The "other abilities" you mention can only be pros for the car. Whereas if you do something on the cheap, things won't be matched, and you may end up making things worse. Of course the chances are reasonable that it won't be any worse, but if you're going to spend money, things should be improving, not maintaining the status quo. Otherwise what's the point of upgrading?
Besides, your name is only a re arrangement of the letters, so you should just get them to have the bragging rights of "yeah, I got shocks made with my name on them"
