215/45 x 17 vs stock 205/45 x 17 work fine - both my sets are that size/profile. Makes your speed indication more accurate but throws your odometer out (under read) by about 3-5%.

I'm running these as well. While most of my driving is city shuffling, they do hold well in corners. They are good in the wet as well.

I've used Tempe Tyres ebay store a few times. They've been very cheap and really good on service and delivery. It's worth price checking them against tyresales first.

I was looking for 4 x 215/45/17s for my NC, and having been happy with Kumho KU22's before, I planned to get them again.
Looked at tyresales, which offered them at $192 ea.
I was near my local type shop recently, so dropped in. They quoted $140 ea for the same tyres.
Fitting is included in both cases.
So unless I am missing something here, in this case I am much better off going with the local guys!

Yes, I just looked at tyresales too. They're friggin expensive, aren't they! Expect to pay around 30-40% less at Tempe and, like David, you'll find a lot of local tyre shops will match or at least get reasonably close to Tempe's prices.

Interesting. I paid $700 (so $175 ea) delivered for my Nittos from tyresales when I bought off them, (Feb 2014)
The last set (Apr2015) tyresales were out of stock, so I went with Taleb tyres who were next cheapest at $195 + $15ea delivery for same thing.

Just checked Tempe now and they are $165 + $20 delivery and Tyresales are now $203 for same (even though neither have stock)

Looks like tyresales prices have jumped up in the last year or so..
