Hub centric Rings HELP PLSS

Postby guss_bruss » Thu Dec 31, 2015 6:23 pm

Okay I have a set of ATS DTC wheels which i now need to fit to my car since one of my stock wheels formed a crack (but I don't know how that happened?)

Now I have an NB8B and I believe we have a 54.2mm Hub right??

Does anybody know the bore of the ATS DTC? I can't find any solid answers, but I think from memory they are a 62mm?

and then where would I buy these, good brand not cheap of course!

Really helpful post, now starting to understand NitroDan's responses to your other posts. What did you think you were going to do but show that you have little to do in your life but show your inability to show any sort respect to someone who has a genuine concern?

Guss as far as I know all Mx 5's are 56.1 centre bore but cannot help with the bore of your current wheels but most good dealers will have a range of adaptors to allow you to make the wheels fit.If you take one to them I am sure they will be able to help.

Good luck,

Peter.

My advice to him is to measure them. Your advice is for him to take the to a wheel shop and they will do it for him.

Both your and my advice doesn't get him a answer and both advises he helps himself. Both posts and advice are disrepectful then aren't they in your eyes? While I don't wanna start another epic -i-battle, do you see the irony in your post?

Tbh. Ask a really basic questions get a really basic response. Measuring them and coming back with "they're 60mm, now where can I get them?" Would mean it's worth the effort to reply.

I've found most beaurepaire outlets usually stock or can order in spigot rings in most any size. Aĺso tyrepower often has common sizes in stock.

Don't be too put off by project.r. 8) He sounds coarse but usually is a wealth of information on more complex topics.

Lol this isn't miataturbo get off your high horse some of you.

Thanks for the people who supplied real information to this thread i do really appreciate the help especially on where to buy them because apart from buying them online I really had no clue where to start looking for them! I will go look for 54.1mm to 60.1mm (hopefully the 15x7 is the same as the 15x8 because that's what I have). I will have another attempt at finding my verniers to confirm sizes, which i tried to before i posted this but then i thought hey, someone on the forum might have experience with this topic.

/By the way project.r, my wheels are still in their boxes, which side of the box should i measure to get the bore size?

I've never run hub centric rings on my car. just have to be careful when tightening the wheels up to make sure they are flush on the face of the hub

+1

if not, there should be a sticker attached to the wheel.

regards different sizes, the width of the wheel shouldn't make a difference, pcd difference would for center bore.
