BLCC Supersprint 29 Nov 15 - a big thank you
Had my first run at Mount Panorama in the BLCC Supersprint on 29 Nov. I came 83rd overall (last place) - well somebody has to!! During my third run, the Rocket's timing belt slipped a tooth. My thanks to Todd H for diagnosing the problem and fixing it for me. Also, a thanks to Tony K for offering to tow my car all the way home to Sydney, if I couldn't get it fixed. The MX-5 community is the greatest. I made it back onto the track for the final run of the day but did not push my luck. I was entered for the hill climb on 29 Nov but decided to take my luck (both good and bad) and go home while I still could. Loved running on Mount Panorama!

Cheers mate! Glad to help. I was hoping to see you on the Sunday. I'm sure it would of survived the day and drive home no worries. I can't believe it didn't touch a valve! It actually jumped 4 teeth on both cams? Your a lucky man

No worries Clayton.
It looks like you got home OK, which was good.
I'll see you up at The Mount sometime soon in 2016.
