Not expecting any damage.

When I read damage I thought poster might have been the guy whose ohlins had slight nick in them.

I can't recall what mine is on currently, but more general experiance was that a low number of clicks was terrible. I think I'm running something like 12 or 15.

Not particularly finding 12 front 12 rear as comfortable as standard shocks. Will tinker with setup tomorrow.

Sorry, that's 9 from full hard front and 8 rear.
12 will have it leaping about with too little rebound control

Thanks Sailor,

On checking mine it wasn,t at 12:12 ,but 16 front and rear no wonder I was getting a neck backache.

Now set at 9:8 front rear, nice.

After install I had the speedboat effect, where front was 370mm n rear 345mm. So went back after a few weeks to mx5 factory n got the bushings checked for any accidental twisting (none found) and got the heights set right. Now sitting at 345mm front and 368mm rear. No scraping etc noticed on driveway. :)
Also got holes made in front n rear to access the damping controls. Was running 10 clicks anticlockwise from full tight (ohlin recommendation). Have tried 9 clicks for few days and even went to 18 clicks which makes it very soft. Will go down to 9 clicks anticlockwise from full tight and stay there :)

PS - when drilling holes in the front strut tower brace (for making adjustments easier) make sure to take it out. mx5 factory tried to drill with the brace screwed in and accidentally drilled into the top screw threading of adjustment part of one of the coilovers :| thankfully it's just visual as the adjustment clicks work fine!

nope just the stock sways - whats surprising is its come a month after install - so either rust or something not right. bushings were fine as we checked during adjustments.

just an ipdate - the creeking sound was from some bolts not fully tightened during wheel alignment - discovered by mx5 factory - went back to alignment place and got a re-alignment (for free) and all good now!
i am running my ohlins at 9 clicks all around at the moment with 31psi in the tyres.
