NC 2.5 clutch experience/advice

Postby Adrianvh » Tue Oct 06, 2015 12:30 pm

:NC:
I have an NC with a 2.5 and 235 semi slicks.
I.L super light flywheel and Exedy HD clutch.

The clutch is about 30k old and noticeably slipping, TBH I was expecting more from the Exedy HD.
I'll be checking full engagement over the weekend but what is everyone else with a 2.5 and sticky tread running?

A months gone since you posted this, so maybe you've changed it out already.

I'm using the Exedy HD pressure and clutch plates on a lightened flywheel without any problem.
They have 40,000 kilometres on the 2.0 engine and now 35,000 kilometres with the 2.5, plus a heap of track days on R=Specs and still can spin up the tyres without any problem.

I'm not sure what your problem could be?
