I hope you understand that TSE has the fastest and most reliable (and amazing value ill add) miata in the USA, before Id assume his design wasnt good based on a bigger is better assumption.

Yep understand that, I already have a set of his brake ducts, however current thinking (by those with more knowledge than me) is get more air to the discs. However if it is pad knockback then the ducts will doing nothing. Guess getting to the root of the problem is the key.

Eastern Creek only got 'brakeless' going into turn 4 and turn 6, however brakes came back almost instantly with a few pumps. At Queensland Raceway no similar brake behaviour same as when on the South Circuit of Eastern Creek no brake issues. The QR National is known for testing brakes and hence why is not used for club events all that often.

Based on the current state of the rear brakes some of the issues could be put down to this. Hopefully all will be good in a few weeks and will be able to test the brakes again at QR and see.

Notwithstanding, more cooling would be an advantage, as would openning the fenders behind the front wheels to let the air out.

For anyone interested, I have 3D printable ducts for both the R-package lip and GV-lips. They are curently set up for 3" ducting but can be resized to suit 2.5" or the TSE 1.5" if required. They can just be riveted onto the lip and then you have a nice formed shape for the airflow, not that it needs to be that elegant.

For anyone with access to a 3D printer and one the required lips it makes it a nice easy option for the inlet ducting.

Oooh...I was just going to remove the driving lights and use those openings.

If I send you a fluted fitting (it's just a tad small...do you think you could fiddle with that and print a "perfect fit" version?

Is it easy enough to sketch up the required duct fitting? If you can give me the required dimensions I can probably get it close enough remotely.

I modelled the entire GV lip duct fitting from photos and a couple of dimensions... had to be tweaked a few times but it's fitting now.

3. Lokiel (NB) - don't really want them YET but like taking advantage of Group Buys.
I'd like the brake duct kit too but if you don't plan to order them to minimise S&H I'm OK with that too.
