Need advice on wheel sizes for na8

Postby ekaban90 » Thu Jan 15, 2015 5:14 am

I want to go for 16inch or 15 and want the wheels to sit as flush as possible to the arch don't want them sticking out or rubbing, I don't want to roll the guards what's the size dimension I'm after? The cars currently sitting with bilstein shocks and pedders lowered springs,

Would getting bigger rims make the wheel sit closer to the arch?

And for some reason the back side sits higher away from arch than the fronts, is it just the way the springs are?

Thank you in advance

I have 15x8 ET30 and they sit flush.
Re the backside, how much are we talking? I'm wondering if your front struts are stuffed.

Wheel size is not the only variable here. Tyre size, height, and alignment settings are also important. Lots of threads on the subject that all end up questioning the definition of the word "fit". Search away if you're keen.

Or just buy practically anything in a 15/16 x 7/8 ish range, offset somewhere in the +30's and you should be fine 99% of the time.
