Re: 2013 FOSC Calendar
Smp south ftw!
While its not MX5 class it'll still be good, and it's local for me!
Might do an mra then fosc then mra and fosc. Think the budget will allow me for 4 events next year.

Re: 2013 FOSC Calendar
Is anyone attending or competing in this on the weekend? If so, what time do festivities start on Friday morning?
I'm heading down to the south coast on Friday morning. There's main 2 ways to go, either along the coast down the Princes Hwy or down the Hume Hwy to Goulburn then turn off and follow Braidwood Rd... I've suggested the latter to my girlfriend, and by pure coincidence Wakefield Park happens to be literally on the way!
It also works out as almost spot on half way so a good opportunity to stop for a coffee and stretch the legs. That there's a whole lot of race cars around is a great outcome.

Love your work, quite the salesman
I am racing in the 'Historics and Invited Sports Cars', have convinced my wife and daughter to come too!
Friday is a practice day (and sessions with the 'masters' getting tips from what I gather). We should be there around 9ish... Carport # 8, Mike Hicks is in a carport alongside along with a few other mexers doing the regularity. Should be quite an array of cars, I am running with: MGAs Triumphs MGs MGBs Austin Healeys, Clubmans... my pristine (...sadly not..) machine is the newest car in it as a 2002 ! 3 mx5s in total.

Re: 2013 FOSC Calendar
Good Friday southbound on the Princes Hwy is usually horrendous traffic, so it's a very good idea to take the inland route. Don't be too surprised if you find bottlenecks on the Hume between Pheasants Nest and Marulan. It is possible to almost completely avoid the Freeway and take a more entertaining drive around it if you go via the backroads: http://goo.gl/maps/4hVTJ
A stop at Braidwood Bakery is definitely worthwhile.

+1 on avoiding the Princes Hwy and stopping at Braidwood Bakery, the vanilla slice is to die for (I may have been known to make the 200km round trip for one).
Where about on the south coast are you headed?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who salivates about the vanilla slice at Braidwood Bakery!

Re: 2013 FOSC Calendar
Thanks guys. Friday has changed from travelling to South Durras (near Batemans Bay) to a proper road trip with sights along the way!
