Nothing wrong with that evil!!
I had my NB NINE WEEKS before I learnt how to put the ragtop up and down!! Only because a 'friend' said 'OMG those clips should SNAP shut harder than that, maybe you won't get it up again!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Who cares? At least I knew where the key went and how to change gears!!
Hope you get heaps for your Track Day

I am out of this one. Universe is conspiring against me
Going to use the time to get a few things sorted with the car. Next event is the FOSC 31 Mar I think.

Re: MRA Round 1... Where are all the entries??
Family weekend away. Good news is I have sign off for the 2 days FOSC over Easter.
Have to make do with a few practice days between now and then, but gives me the chance to sort a few things on the car.

Congrats on the medical, can't be as old and decrepit as your reputation makes out....
Seems like Prod Sports is bigger - amongst the mx5'ers - in Qld than NSW. We have a viable alternative in AASA / MRA I guess, and once you are doing that the hassle and cost of CAMS licencing is a major disincentive......??

Re: MRA Round 1... Where are all the entries??
Prod. Sports in NSW is pretty much dead as far as the state rounds go, they are lucky to get 10 entries total, just isn't worth the trouble going to a state round and paying over $400 for 3 races over 2 days.
The one hour races are always well supported, better value for money but now they have allowed GT3 cars and all sorts of other things you can't even buy here as a road car so that definately makes the 1 hour less attractive.
Luckily we have the MRA and AASA which are always great meetings and also go value for money.

Bigger cheque boooks required by the looks of the cars running, for sure. When does the schedule for 2013 come out, I don't see it on their website?

The last couple of years I have done the ARDC Sports Car Carnival to keep my CAMS licence current but last year we ran last and it really isn't much fun when Le Mans style cars come zooming past at warp factor 9... I am keen to do endurance racing with the various 300's. I am starting to wonder whether holding a CAMS licence is worth it...Unless I ditch the MX5 and go IPRA...
"yes yes yes! I know what I'm doing! Just leave me alone...

Re: MRA Round 1... Where are all the entries??
I feel the amount of aasa events now I see no point in having a cams licence. I didn't even renew my l2s as its same price for national aasa circuit!
In saying that 2014 I want to do both 300s for something new. Need. Co driver though!
