To be honest I prefer the old road at night as there's no cyclists around and you can see cars coming the other way due to headlights... That said at dusk there is a slight increased chance of wild life but it's going to be a leisurely pace... If you're looking to go hard then I suggest do it another time. The last thing we want is an incident or bad press for the forums / members

Ok, seems this isn't going too well...

How about we postpone it until another time with a little more warning and slightly better weather.
