Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB- ICEBERG RUN – 7 AUGUST 2011
Here is best guess at the time of posting for Sunday's weather conditions:-
SUNDAY 7 AUGUST 2011 WEATHER FORECAST:- weather forecast has improved in the past 24 hours in so far as shower activity is concerned with a weaker East Coast Low forming further south than predicted. Conditions could well improve by Sunday morning though the opposite is no less likely.
1-5mm of rain is no problem with roof down on quiet country roads as we head away from the coast
SYDNEY BASIN SUNDAY FORECAST
Cloudy with scattered showers heavier near the coast with moderate NW winds swinging SE during the day
City: Showers
Min: 11 Max: 18 Chance of Rain: 60% 10-20mm
Richmond: Showers
Min: 7 Max: 19 Chance of Rain: 60% 1-5mm
CENTRAL TABLELANDS SUNDAY FORECAST
Mostly sunny morning. Areas of rain from late morning with NW winds swinging SE later in the day
Lithgow:-: Showers
Min: 4 Max: 10 Chance of Rain: 60% 1-5mm
Katoomba:- Showers
Min: 6 Max: 10 Chance of Rain: 60% 1-5mm
CHANCE OF FROST: NIL
If the Weather Gods are misbehaving or threatening on Sunday morning we can hold hands, form a circle and perform a "no rain" dance in Macca's car park to placate them.

Bryan,
Simone rang me through the day and we will meet up at Maccas. Keep the stuff in your boot until we get to the tea house.

I'm so sorry all, I'm not going to be able to make it :'(
I have lots of humanitarian stuff I'm responsible for, and since the 40 Hour Famine is coming up I'm snowed under with jobs!
The lineup looks great, I'm really disappointed I can't come. Have a great time everyone!

A great (and for my wife, exciting) run. Glad to have had the opportunity to meet a few people, and put faces to the names.
Thanks to everyone who organized this...and to the silver NA for not running into me after my little spin! Never got to figure out who you were!

Good to put your face to your name too Apu!
The silver NA was probably Mark. He's the organizer for most of the cruiser runs

Re: MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB- ICEBERG RUN – 7 AUGUST 2011
Oh that was YOU Bryan! Whoopsie
. It was very lucky for you and your wife that you had a spare lane to run into. Mark was in the silver NA with "NA6" in the plates and he mentioned your incident over lunch. The roads were VERY slippery this morning and I was "driving Miss Daisy" the whole time - hardly a thrilling drive but you can't pick the weather.
