Any one wanting to meet at Rofe Hornsby @500 leave 510 down the gorge and across to the Maccas . Be there for the 530 time. let me know

Better still Robert, bring your insulated flasks straight Dural at 5.30 as Maccas does not open until 6.00 am as best as I can recollect. :roll:

I just find driving out the m2 /pennant hills /newline rds boring, at least the Galston Gorge gets the tyres warmed up

All true but there will be a line of people hankering for a coffee at Dural by 5.35 am :cry:

You can still charge around the circumference with your thermos' rather than run the radius to get from Willoughby to Dural :roll:

and that way everyone would get a good start to the day with your compliments .

Count us in too. We will join in from outside the Ford dealer on the run into Lithgow. Any idea of the time you will be hitting Lithgow?

The Iceberg Run will regroup in Chiffley Street Lithgow then turn left into Hartley Vale Road somewhere between 7.50 to 8.15am (ie 8.00 am +/- 15 minutes). :roll:

Timing is subject to traffic and weather conditions on the day. :roll:

Lithgow is at about 135km into a run of around 170km.

The Ford franchise is one block down the road from where we plan to turn off Chiffley Street. If we have black ice concerns :twisted:

for the back roads then the GWH will become the route of choice and we will drive past D & J Ford.

WARNING: Megalong Valley Tea House has suggested caution as we leave the houses in Blackheath and enter bushland to commencie our descent into Megalong Valley on Shipsley Road. If we have frost then black ice on a 100m shaded section of road is common place at that point otherwise of little concern going down to the tea house.

Agreed, and I don't know where the "barista" part comes in anyway, since as far as I can tell they just push a button? :?:

Would love to catch the gorge but I doubt I could make up it that early...
