The Informal Run That Defines The Word EPIC..! 9/7/11

Postby -alex » Mon Jun 27, 2011 4:07 pm

Hey Guys,

Bensale is coming up to Sydney in two weeks so I thought I'd organise a run that shows off some of the best roads in NSW.
Some of last years mx500 mixed with a few of my favourite roads, this run is not to be taken lightly.
Eight and a half hours of Epicness await over almost 600km of great roads. I strongly suggest sharing the driving on this one.

When: Saturday the 9th of July

Meet point: Richmond McDonalds Meet at 5.30am for a 6.00am leave.

Map: Google Map

Coffee and Such Stops: Oberon, Goulburn, Robertson
The lunch stop in Goulburn wont be anywhere specific, we will just arrange a time to regroup at the Giant Ram and continue on with the run. For those with day plans this is a good point to hit the freeway and head back up to Sydney.

I would recommend bringing a second driver on this run, it is a very long day. Aside from that camera, snack foods and a good attitude are about the only other essentials..!

I think you'll manage it if you want to on your own. Its basically what we did on the way back from mx500 last year.
Also Im sure I can sort something out if you'd like. There will be enough people there on the day, with the interest I have amongst friends.

Oh man, that sounds amazing. I don't think I could do it in an MG though, so unless someone was willing to take a passenger or a co-driver I don't think I could make it.

Thanks Alex!

Putting myself down as a tentative for this one. My car still has issues, and I will probably have to stay at my brother's place on the Friday night as I am so far away from the start point... but if it all works out, I will be there!

If I've had a chance to service my car before then I'll come along, otherwise I'm not sure if it's a good idea to put it through this abuse.
