Only problem with that is that we're coming down from Newcastle and the plan was to head down via a more scenic route anyway, so coming down to meet you guys and then head out would mean a pretty early start for us. We might still be willing to do it, but it would be less convenient... Unless you guys wanted to come up and meet us halfway down or something. The thought at this stage is that we'll be going down via Yarramalong, Peats Ridge Road and the Old Pacific Highway unless we're given any better ideas.

Paul - have you got a place in mind where we can meet? Maybe even for breakfast? (we're use to getting up early for runs... ;))

Sorry, I'm used to very late nights and very late starts. Besides, I'm an MG guy - the last run I went on with the MG club was literally 3km down the road from the clubrooms.

As for where you want to meet up, depends how far north you want to come really. This is the route that we're thinking of taking (obviously with the starting point changed so I'm not giving out our addresses on the Internet).

Awwww I thought I had been forgotten but NO!! YaY

Just checked my roster, 12-4.30pm... So that counts me out Im sorry, but I could get Cass to take my place if you want.

As for an early morning.... We'll see I have plans for Saturday night.. but pie is agood hangover cure, so we'll see.

Getting close now...

BadBong, any thoughts on where you might like to meet up? If we're doing the route that I figured out then the top of the interesting stuff is just near Wyong. If you wanted to come up that far then I'm sure we'd be able to get some breakfast there. If not, there are other options further down the road.

Hm... I'm not getting any bites from the others about an early start so let's assume that we'll all meet up for the movie.

Here's the plan:

12noon - Meet at Maccas next to the Apple Store on the corner of George Street and Market Street. For those who are hungry, grab something there. Closest parking would be on the corner of Sussex and Market St. $9 all day parking on weekends;

12:30 - We head towards the State Theatre. The movie should finish by 3pm;

15:00 - For those who can stick around, we can either find a cafe to sit, drink and chat or we can do a short drive somewhere (open to suggestions). From memory, some of you need to be back in the city for dinner???;

Hamx5ster and others - if you're up for a morning drive, I wouldn't mind a Putty Rd run OR a Wisemen's Ferry Run before we meet up with PaulF somewhere on the way. Please PM me soon!
