Jeez broady! Cardigan!!! You haven't swapped into a Camry while we weren't looking, have you? Next thing we'll find a box of tissues and some pillows on your parcel shelf.

As much as I absolutley love this run.
Unless I can get back to Mooney Mooney by 12pm I wont be able to make it.
I just put in my leave so I can't take any more time off... I'll see what happens.

We always are

Are ring-ins (ie, non-Mazdas) welcome on this run? Obvisoulsly, so long as they can abide by the 'sans-roof' policy?

Absolutely anyone is welcome (of course preferably sans roof) but if others are interested they are welcome. This is an informal run, and since we drive public roads, everybody and anybody is welcome to follow along. Of course if the car is a hard-top, I should hope the windows are down or it just isn't fair on the rest of us!

Hey Guys,
Better check that Galston Gorge will be open on 1st August.
According to traffic reports that I hear on the radio the road through Galston Gorge is closed for repairs for a number of weeks.

Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
The date's drawing close and so...so...so... unfortunate that I'll have to pull out again =(
Will be on holidays on that weekend but can make practically every other weekend in August
Galdston Gorge has been closed since the first week of July and will most likely be closed till mid-August (there's a link on Mania's website to the RTA announcement).
I've also been down Putty Road just last weekend and even though we left Maccas a whole hour later than usual, it was still unbelievably cold... (I still remember seeing steam when I was taking a leak on the side of the road near the half way house
) so good luck to you all.

If it is as cold as the "brass monkey run" you'll need those gloves and caps... brrr. Loved the run (brass monkey) last week end although it was on the Hume hwy it was fun to see far enough ahead to let the car run freely. The side mirrors frosted over as we went down thru the gullys at the speed limit?
