Front to rear balance

Would anybody know what the front to rear balance of an NA6 is. I'm thinking it might fit better on my trailer if I reverse it on.
thanks olboy

50/50 weight distribution if that's what you're talking about...

I thought it was 53 f, 47 r in the NA............or maybe I'm thinking of a COW

I don't think it'll make much difference which way around you have it on the trailer olboy, we're only talking less than a 1000 kg all up, only a poofteenth difference either way :)

Nothing worse than a trailer that is tail happy and my trailer is very light so a little bit will make a difference. I like to keep the speed up when towing. Driving slow is boring

Front to rear balance

In every new incarnation of the MX5 Mazda claims an improved 50/50 weight distribution to model it replaces. I'm guessing Mazda have as much trouble reading scales as they do dyno graphs. It's either 50/50 or it's something different. 50.01/49.99 isn't 50/50 Mazda.

The reason why the battery is in the boot - to get the balance to 50/50...

Hi olboy,
Most early *reports state either a 51/49% or 52/48% front to rear weight distribution.

*Based on Road & Track's Mazda MX-5 Miata Portfolio and Mazda Miata MX-5 Performance Portfolio 1989-1996 both published by Brookland Books.

Hope this helps.
Les

Maybe someone who's corner weighted their car can confirm?

That would be interesting. It sounds like its that close that it wouldn't make any difference on a trailer. like AJ said
