FOSC Bathurst entires are out

Postby mx5racing » Tue Jan 13, 2009 3:20 pm

Hey guys,

I've have been following this up with Charles and this is the response -

I will look into it shortly good sir, remembering you can’t use tent pegs in the tarred area good sir. No good reason why not and it promotes the group which is good for everyone. Remind me after please mid February – if you would kindly good sir, bit flat out with Oran Park for next ten days

We should be able to take advantage of this and I think it makes us look stronger from and entry point if we all get together. We "borrowed" some power last year and there was plenty of power points available to take advantage of without having to worry about gen sets.

Should we make a list of those wanting to join in??

Chris.

I was thinking more of where Chris Gough setup last year ie right behind the garages.

Charles designated this spot to us but as we all know around there was just so congested it wasn't funny!! So to make it easier for everyone we moved down the end and this was good.
Anyone hassle you?

We had a visit from a OHS/workcover Nazi... who clearly had a small (censored  ) but an offical badge he like to wave around (the badge not the (censored  ).
After we moved down the pit exit end and set up behind the pits about halfway across the bitumen section. Apart from another visit from Herr OHS  who didnt like our untagged extension cord, we had no further isses. This year we have a special one tagged for him......

It was a great spot way out of the way yet close to everything.

you were one of many - but we're used to that 8)

The important thing is I can now feel the love

So about the list of people who are interested? And do we want to set up on the bitumen or in the paddock area waaaaaaaay out the back?

Bitumen no question. If it's not possible I'll probably get a garage. Like CT said, the dirt paddock can turn into a mud slide.
