You never know, they may have the stiffest side wall, therefore, it may well have the worst ride comfort. They're very subjective these sorts of 'tests'.

To their credit, Maxxis do make pretty good dirt bike tyres. I've used them for years.

According to Motor, these Maxxis where made in Thailand. I wonder if they are made from the same factory as the Michellin PP2s?

I have to admit, when it came to tyres, I've been a brand snob. I've stayed away from all the Korean tyre brands (Kumho, Hankook etc) as they generally were crap in the wet. But this test has opened my eyes to other non major brand tyre.

I might just consider the Maxxis next time, considering they are nearly $400 cheaper than the Adrenalins for a set.

No PP2, why . . . the PP2 would of pulled 7 lateral G's had an apex speed faster than the space shuttle and is better than Podborski in the Slalom and Super G, nuff said

They're very subjective these sorts of 'tests'.

They are? its all about figures, seconds, g forces, brake distances. Nothing subjective about those parts of the tests at all.

I dont understand this test but I assume its the distance it took to come to a complete stop from xx amout of speed in dry vs wet conditions. I asume that the same road and same speed was used for both wet and dry tests.

Test 4 - Wet Braking
1. Goodyear F1 38.1m << WTF
2. Dunlop SP 39.4m
3. Pirelli 39.5m

Test 3 - Dry Braking
1. B'stone Potenza 36.7m
2. Maxxis Victra 38.1m
3. Goodyear F1 38.3m << WTF

Results sugest that in the presence of H20 the silikon compound in Crapyear F1 creates some sort of an affinity to the road, thus in dry conditions it takes longer to stop. Obviously Crapyear F1s are not well suited for Australian conditions due to the lack of rain.

Next time I go to Wunton I have to do a rain dance?

Once again I dont know how this test was carried out but I assume its the time it takes to drive between xx amout of witches hats spaced over an xx distance, I only assume that the same salom setup was used for both wet and dry tests.

Im so lucky I have the Crapyear F1 thus I can pull off the same times in both wet and dry conditions? Thats kinda impressive gives that piece of mind when I speed around wet round abouts.

maybe goodyear actually intended for the F1 tyre design to work well in both wet and dry, sure its not the fastest but it does show good times in both conditions.

Your gagging aren't you mate? Couple of points then;

1. There's a Human behind the wheel who can (and will) makes mistakes.
2. Repetitively braking hard in a stock car all day doesn't change the braking performance at all, does it?
3. The ambient temprature rises and falls.

Motor do try to cover as many variables as possible, but not all.

now what i found was interesting was the fedral rsr's. i was thinking that these would be a goer since they are cheaper then the adrenalin, piss all over the road tyers yet still seem to do ok in the wet. the only downfall i suppose is unknow/shorter tread life.
