I must humbly apologise, I have had a moment of clarity whilst on the plane.

The week of the 20th I am supposed to go to this seminar bollox but I have a mate flying in on the 22nd for INDY, and my brother & sister-in-law arrive early Friday Arvo.
ergo I won't be going to Sydney at all that week.

I will drop Camel Boi a PM when a suitable time avails. We may even have to organise a dodgy wingszzz evening instead. If anyone has a deep fryer and a backyard that could be made available, then I'm sure some "Sauce of the Gods" can come south too :shock:

Now that I am back from my around the world sojourn, I might even be tempted to join this one. I am still on long service leave till Nov.
When I was at the Backroads to Bavaria event in Seattle at the beg of Nov, I met up with a lot(at least 250) other MX5 owners. A lot of them expressed some interest in coming over, especially when I told them about the Fish & Chip Run! In fact I already have one taker from Vancouver. He is actually (would you believe) a Golf Pro on the Celebrity Line Cruise ships and will be in the southern hemisphere for the summer. His first visit to Sydney is on Nov 13th, a Thursday, so perhaps we can organise the second one for that night. His own car is highly tuned, so he might need to be dríven by someone like Bigdog in an SP!
I met up with Tom Matano at that event. He was the guest speaker and is just a really nice guy who lives and breathes cars! I know you guys in Melbourne will probably have attended his talk there this week. I also met up with Gary Fischman of Miatanet. Photos to follow when I get them downloaded and work out how to get them here!

heya craig, i'm not too sure the exact address of the north sydney pylon for the harbour bridge.. (not very familiar with that area). what street is it on? what's the closest intersecting street?

I hopemy presence wo'nt turn anyone off coming along.
It's a really nice run, and the fish and chips are pretty good too.

It's the north-east pylon we meet at, and it's easy to find.

If coming from the south, take the left lane on the harbour bridge and take the first turn off to Milson's Point.
You'll then come to a roundabout, and take the first exit. Then take the 2nd or 3rd street to the left, go through the tunnel, then right at the lights, and you'll see us all straight ahead at the bottom of the hill.
