I'll tentatively say I'm coming still, but as mentioned, it all depends on how the Buck's night the night before goes.

I've worked on my (old) car hungover before, and that wasn't very much fun. Don't particularly fancy doing it again, irrespective of what type of car it is :P

Hi all - I'm hoping to get to this one too, even if it's just to say \"hi\". Don't have any dodgy work to be done ... unless the group buy speed bleeders have arrived. :)

Well, the suspension bushes, brake anti rattle clips, brake pads, oil, filter, brake fluid, bearing grease and associated tools are on their way.

Now to get hold of the wheel bearings and I'm done!

Wheel bearings are ordered, total of $370 for all 4 corners, better than the $700 a corner Mazda wanted!

If anyone needs bearings I can recommend talking to Milad at CBC in kingsgrove :)

thats awsome caff......, I wonder if we could put that into a sticky of some sort.

might pay off to start making a list of all the tools you need for your bushes change.

also for Bevan for his timing belt change. I do recommend stands......although the car needs to be on the ground for opening the crank bolt.

Crow bar is a pretty good idea for torquing up the bolt later

My legs & back have only just recovered.

I'll be bringing the bench press. but you need to get hold of one of those gas torches. The other good tool i found was the steering wheel puller or bearing puller. For one particular bush at the rear. I also remember thanking my lucky stars for the long handle of a sledge hammer....but I can't remember why.

If you can't get hold of the gas torch......I'll bring my single camping gas stove
so there is some food for thought.

Kula was thinking of coming, I hear pictures are something he's quite familiar with :)

I'll add a blow torch & bearing puller to my list of remaining parts (bearing grease, axle stands, wire brushes, oil, splined crank remover, chain whip etc etc) then, thanks STM :D

Does anyone know the stock swaybar sizes for the NB8B? Mania have some questions regarding the suspension bushes...

If anyone has trouble lights or flood lights bring them too, makes it easier to see in the underground parking area :)

Yes I have a beer bin, at the moment it's stocked with becks, heineken, blue tongue and asahi, although I can't guarantee it'll still be there by the 14th, bathurst is this weekend after all!

A beer bin is different to a wheely-bin-o-beer...... :D

C'mon, no \"distilled\" Dodgy Days allowed.
You need proper wingzzzzz and a wheely bin!
