Try swapping it around left to right. I wouldn't drive it around like that though. You will damage the wishbones

My workshop manual doesn't mention a left or right side. It might be an idea to take it off and compare it to the original bar to make sure it is the same shape and you dont have an NB bar, which will also fit with a few mods apparently.

It often happens with NAs and that particular Whiteline swaybar. You need a set of shorter end-links. I've got a Whiteline set from Mossy sitting here that I didn't need because mine fitted OK. Almost unused with polyurethane bushes.

$35 inc postage. PM me.

Lam, your car is a japanese import? Just a guess cos I can see little bits of surface rust underneath (from the salted winter roads).

Could it be the wrong bar for the car - maybe an NB one or something?

I bought this one off Matty - came off his NA6 however i never fitted it because i have a Racing Beat hollow bar on the way. I have just PM'd Matty to see if he has any ideas........seems very odd indeed!

Looking at the pics, your right upper control arm is bent to buggery. Fix it.

does it look like its bent to anyone else?

This very bar came off Mattys NA6 with no fitting probs.

Its either a bent control arm or the bar is bent - and the bar aint bent. I'd reckon the previous owner has put that car into the gutter or a traffic island.

Why not get a used A-arm from Mania and fix it properly? I dont think they are very expensive used and not that hard to replace.

It must be doing terrible things to your wheel alignment.

Agree with what others have said.......fix the A Arm.....this is a fundamental problem you need to sort out before any mods.

Fix it when you replace your shocks. You have to pull half the suspension to bits to fit the shock anyway, you might as well do the little bit extra and replace the arm.

If you just use the middle hole the whiteline should line up perfectly with the std one, they do have one hole further away so you can soften it if you want, but you need some bal type links to use it properly.

As for the top arm, prob not a bad idea to get that sorted :D

No no no............its a fixed front bar (ie. 1 hole each side) for NA6. His A Arm is buggered thats why it doesnt fit. Came straight off Mattys NA6 with no modification. Case closed 8)
