Thanks everyone for your support last night, Kijima does not matter if your up the front gunning it or down the back having a cruise, just as long as your there and having fun thats what counts.
Good to see you and the good lady out last night as well.
Mexi, i am so sorry to hear of your encounter, is there anything i can do to help? i have a few contacts in panel repairs in the North if that can help?

Thanks again to those attended,

Cheers
Al & Roady.

The pics will be uploaded soon.

well done boys. It was a fantastic event, even though I was stuck behind the 1.6 striped terror
That spotlight was a brilliant idea.

Once again, well done!

Thanks everyone for the fun night. Good to see such a turn out.
Mexi, I feel your pain. Nearly had the same thing on the run down to King Lake. Came through one tight lefty to find the cars in front breaking for a SLOW 4 by 4. Had to break with the wheels in a left lock. All I saw was sign posts coming toward me and listening to squeeling breaks. Fortunately pulled up in time and no damage. Certainly makes the blood pump!

Stuck behind a 1.6 eh? All we heard was the screeching of slipping drive belts as they became a distant spec in the rear viw mirror!!!!!

  *hangs head in shame* It was an embarassing sound.
I know why they keep slipping. There is "chunking" of the alt belt.
Brand new belt too. Oh well....time to put on the original one.

Thanks Mon, but they are picis of the scrape, not the run. Al said some were coming and I know Rodney took a bucket load as usual.
And where did you get to? I thought you were going to turn up. You missed a whole lota fun!

Doesnt matter, I joined up about 2 years prior to purchasing my MX-5, and went on heaps of runs with no car....

MonSqueek wrote:I did go on the January one down to the Dromana drive-ins, but I wouldnt say I felt like I got a terribly warm reception. Im not sure if I will join the club or not yet. For now I might just keep gate crashing to occasional Thursday night.

Hummm it does seam a little odd :frown:

Let me guess? You borrowed a car and the rest is history

Mon, Sorry to see you weren't happy with the members on that run. I guess the fact that they own an MX5 makes them loud and proud and you just have to speak up to be heard, like err Fatty was.
