Just been out today and drove the run....
I love Reefton Spur.......

Looking forward to seeing you all there on the night.

Remember if you intend to grab some food for a bite in the car park, BRING IT WITH YOU. From what i saw today there is nothing at The Pines Shopping centre!

Anyone know of any take-away close to the area?

take away close to the area....
well as i said there is the big food court out the back but , not sure if many of those places will still be open. there is a subway next door to the pines. then there is a bunch of places (noodlebox, pizza, fish'n'chips, japanese, etc etc) about 2km up blackburn road. there is also a macca's on the cnr of blackburn and doncaster rd, and a nando's on doncaster rd.

so there is certainly no shortage of food in the area!!

see you all there.

It's open to have a look and a fun evening for all MX5's but it sounds like someone needs to join their local club. Wouldn't be $30 if you joined now in Jan and then you get one of these runs every month, access to track days and a ripper monthly magazine. As for the people ...........well.......... they have MX5's so they can't be all that bad.

I thought the idea was to go to the fish chip shop at the pines? Its called Flakey Jakes i think. There is also a Nandos there and possibly other options. They are in the next section facing onto the carpark.

Just a quick question, is this a 'spirited' drive because the missus is riding shotgun, and well...

Thanks Guys,
I love the reefton, but that was possibly my most enjoyable run run through it. Had a great time.

Sorry to hear that, Shane. Like Fatty I can't remember seeing any bent cars hope the fix isn't too expensive.

Cheers,

Thankyou Al for organising an excellent night, and well done for ordering good weather for the drive. Somtimes its nice to have a leisurely club drive with the leader of the opposition rather than the usual 'boys day out' on a 'spirited' run.
