supplied & fitted at mania this morning.


quite strange I put the old shagged RT215's on last night to have them upgraded to the new ones today. What adifference to the old hard tyres i'd been running. awsome.
RT615 don't seem any different so far but i havent pushed them yet.

well i'll go for a quick hoon now. Find some twistieeeeeeeeees.

I've also just put on a set of the RT 615's and I'm very happy with them.
Almost as much grip as my DO2's, but the ride is much softer and they are also very quiet.

I know they won't last much more than 10-15,000 k's, but I still think they are very good value for someone who likes to go around corners in a spirited fashion.

ive ran my 615s at wakefield a few times...

not as good as rspecs, but quite good..
predictable, and last about 5-6 laps before getting too hot.

You will find a fresh set of R specs like DO1's between 1-2 seconds quicker.
I found a shagged set of DO1's with too many heatcycles will still be more predicable than The Azenis RT215 but time wise was identical. The azenis felt mushier compared to the shagged DO1's at operating temp.


Note: I have not dríven the RT 615 on the racetrack but on the road in dry coditions I can't tell any difference between the RT215 & RT615. as far as grip & handling goes.
so i'm guessing that the tyres will behave similaryly on the racetrack.
