I never heard of anyone liking PSS on MX5's there was something on Miata.net about it and most people said they were too hard. I think they work better on a heavier car. Look at Tein or Cusco if your looking for coil overs they are generally loved by Mx5ers

I reckon the PSS9's are fantastic!!!!!!!!!
I set them reasonably soft for the street, and the ride is better than stock, and the wheel control is superb. No floating or bouncing at all.
Give Heasman Steering a call and they'll set you straight about fitting them on an NA.
I'd be surprised if they didn't have a kit for NA's available.
If you have heard about Bilstiens being really stiff, they were on the Clubmans because Mazda decided to change the springs on them without telling Bilstien, and the springs and shocks didn't match. If you got Heasman to re-valve them, the ride was quite acceptable.

I have the PSS9's, they seem to be effective for track work. I used to soften them out for the road, but I dont bother any more.
They cost a bit up front, but lets face it, if you spend $1500 on something that doesnt work at all, then its worse value then spending 3k on something that does.
