Rota GT3 people's opinions..?? *ordering a set*

Postby green_comet » Thu Jun 29, 2006 11:48 am

Hi everyone,

well im still searching for some wheels, for my mx5..

I have come across some rota gt3's that i can get for a reasonable price.

They are 15x7 +40 and weigh 5.5 kg each.. or 16x7 +40

Here's some on an integra.

My car is white i think the gold will set it off.. Then there is the big, should i go for 16\" or 15\"

What are peoples opinions on them??

cheers
Ryan

Great looking rim. 8) Nice and light to, there is a lot of them on the big forum. Where are you getting them from and what is a reasonable cost? Bob Jane brings in some Rota rims as RJR racing.

No sold myself sorry.
There is a lot of inner lip that makes the wheel diameter look smaller. For the opposite effect have a look at Uncle Arthurs wheels. They actually look bigger than they are due to the spokes going all the way to the edge.

Just my 2c worth.

Nice wheels, just don' tget them too close to a kerb or you will not only damage the rim, but the spoke too.
I'm always worried about wheels where the centres or the spokes stick out more than the rim. They're too easy to damage.

What Jules said. The 15's would look like 14's and 16's would look like 15's. So if you like them get the 16's.

Wow.. i really like them!

I thought that ROTA was a brand that copies rims.. i.e. like those RAVS VORKS rims you see getting around

Is ROTA a reputable brand?

They look tough without the centre caps on.
