I have tried 3 varieties now :
Dunlop D01 205/50/16 SPS (soft) - The best I have had. Of course the trade off is wear, got 6 good track days from them. I think the 16\" suited the SP in terms of taller gearing, but they scrubbed a lot and are more expensive so I downsized.
Dunlop D01 205/50/15 S (medium) - I think this is what a lot of people are running (although many are switching to the D02 - with varying success). I got more track time from them for sure, but once they had done about 8 days, the grip level has fallen dramatically.
Yokohama A048R 205/50/15 M (medium) - Seem to be on par with the D01-S, and they are wearing well. Yet to see how many days before they start going down hill, but have seen people getting good results on them. They are a wider tyre then the D01, even though they are the same size.
