Boyracer wrote:If the car is just used for "Spirited" driving you need to be looking at a minimum -2.5deg. camber on back and front.

I don't really think toe ins-outs are going to make a lot of difference when you are talking about 1mm...your 3.4 mm on the rear is probably just going to induce a bit of understeer because the tail doesn't want to slide and that will contribute to the tyre wear on the edges.

Ted wrote:Yep, I agree with Lou. I run a fairly mild setup on the MX5, pretty much -
Front: -1.5 camber, max caster, 0 toe
Rear: -1.5 camber, 2mm toe in.
This is for street tyres on a street car (with LSD). My old 5 on sticky rubber ran -3 to -3.5 camber, and I still wore the outsides of the tyres.

OK Still undecided about rear toe in on the rear.......somewhere between 1&2mm total?

Thanks for everyones opinions & views

The current allingment is seriously out of whack. "The Almost stock 1.6" handling like a dog. But I should be back to a sweet ride today.

back in Form.

He only managed to get
front
camber 2.25 deg
toe 0
max cast.

rear
camber 2.5 deg
toe -1.5mm

its a lot more stable than what it was. especially on the freeway. Got the 100km/h shimmy recentle when i mucked up the rear allingment.
no dramas with tramlingng at this stage. i don't think i'll have a problem as the great western hwy & pmatta road is fill of those tracks in the road.

havent really given it any as the princess was in theww car.....it will have to wait until Mon.
