FM Butterfly brace. (Do you want one too?) [WA]

Postby Wivvix » Wed Sep 30, 2009 7:08 pm

Hi guys.

I'm thinking of buying an FM butterfly brace from the US, because mania has them for like $1400, when they can be bought for about $900AUD inc shipping.

Does anyone else in WA want one? We can split the shipping costs, saving us both $200.

I'll be looking to buy one in about a week. If you're interested, send me a pm.

Cheers

marcusus has one on his car, now he lived in W.A. you could get a demo before you decide to buy one.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Indeed you can
However, my butterfly brace section (as compared to the frame rails) needs to be lowered a bit, as it's currently touch the exhaust slightly, which is causing a bit of a knock/rattle at certain RPM. Need to fix that at some stage...

Don't forget that you'll probably have to pay import duty because the value will be > $1000

Even so it would work out to about $200 max. Still saves "us" both $100. :)
