& if its not the wheels out of ballance....check your wheel bearings

have just had a wheel bearing go on me... arent they more of a noise that steadily increases with speed

They're the experts, not cheap but they're good at what they do.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
