Thats odd the Goodyear rep seemed a little vague… :?

Yes you can tell the country of origin from the marking on the side wall… BUT it’s a little late when you have paid for them and they are fitted isn’t it? :(

Yep no matter where those Goodyears are made they are all good enough for Australian consumers. BUT he didn’t tell you that the Thai made tyres are so crap they can’t legally be sold in Europe. :frown:

If Goodyear can’t promise you a set of Eagle F1s made in Germany you might end up drawing a short straw and having to live with it. :(

I suggest not running at 28PSI. It's what I've been doing this past few weeks as an experiment, and it's been giving be worse fuel economy. I put them back up to 29PSI and just from looking at the rate the needle goes down it's already working out to me be more economical.

thanks mate - after i scrub them in and go for a run i will see if i can put them up to 31 or even 32. i have noticed straight away that the change of the direction is much more positive. not a chance to test grip but they feel ok for 4km old.

Yeah, I've usually got my 195/50/15 Kuhmo's at 30PSI. I'm just doing some solid experimenting with pressures at the moment to prove to myself what's the best pressure. I think economy wise it starts going downhill again after the low 30's.
