HALF-DAY QR WILLOWBANK

The next Track Day will be Monday 20 May 2013 at Queensland Raceway, Willowbank

The format will be a half day starting 1.00pm to 5.00pm

Seeing everyone had so much fun yesterday at Lakeside we might as well continue that at QR!!

Interstate entries will be welcome!! Make a post, ask questions and answers will be fired back ASAP - we had one Victorian and several NSW entries yesterday

Lets see if I can get the day off again.

Can anyone put me in touch with the mazdas that r for rent at willowbank, Feel the need for a track day.
Where do u stand if you crash one of these vehicles..

Very keen for another track day, just need to cure my loose turbo stud problem first!

I did see them for sale recently, so not sure if they still offer them? Best bet is to ring QR office.

Just ring 1800-RACERS and that's QR Office at Willowbank

I guess that calculates to 1800-722377

I have heard they are selling all of them, not sure so will check when I am at Lakeside tomorrow and make another post here

Willowbank is the track to start on, quite safe.

I will try and make it to the track day, by hook or by crook.

These NB's were 'JDM Imports' and are NOT able to be registered for road use

Its 1 hour away should have gone to lakeside to get some xp before.

I'm just back from Lakeside, spoke with Neil from QR Staff, they are no longer taking bookings for MX5 hire, only honouring those that have previously been booked, I asked about May 20 but 'no go', they are being sold off and the first went last week, they had 14 in all

They removed the ones first from Lakeside due to the amount of damage they were sustaining [one was written off!!] and they find it no longer viable to run the 'hire fleet'

On the other side, I was able today to watch Tim [zoom-zoom] in his NA doing a 1:00.07, Matt in his '69' NB doing low 1:04's and a few others as well. Unfortunately one immaculate Holden Monaro [late model] was badly damaged when it rolled coming out of Karasell just before the left hand crest at the 'Bus Stop', considerable damage but the driver is OK. Appears in the second right hander thru Karasell he got sideways tried to drive out of it but all went wrong BIG TIME!
