2017 AASA Race Licence medical??

Hi all, I've been trying to figure this out from the application forms and doing a search on the forum, but can't find a clear answer.

I've been away for a year and am gearing up to get back into the MX-5 Cup so I need to renew my AASA Race Licence. The medical that you previously had to get as part of the application was an exhaustive 3+ page affair that needed an extended doctors appointment (at great cost) with dozens of questions and parameters that even NASA would have thought was overkill.

From the look of the application now its 10ish questions that involve a cough, turn your head and a bit of honesty. Did something change in the requirements or am I missing the full medical questionnaire somewhere????

Thanks for the help (sorry if i've missed something obvious)... and gentlemen start your engines!

Cheers,

Stu

Stu,

The National Race License application is still 3 pages, with lots of medical items

Were you looking at the Club Race License application?
That license is only for sprints not door-to-door racing.

Welcome back BTW :-)

Ahhhhhh... yes that must have been what I was looking at. I must have forgotten that doing the Cup was competing on the national stage!

I'll make the appointment, print it all out and grab my ankles!

Thanks David!
