Is anyone going to this event?
Ill be bringing my red S1 Rx7 along, and possibly my dad aswell (Noobee/Mick).
I see there is a few MX5s on the entrant list.
2nd time on this track (1st time about 3 years ago with totally different setup), has anyone got any pointers for me about the track?

CSCA have quite a few MX-5s coming from MGCCN these days. Many of us here are doing the CAMS supersprint the next day on the north circuit. But it wouldn't surprise me if you'll have a few takers for the CSCA event.

Pointers? Treat turn 1 with a LOT of respect. If you start to lose control there, get on the brakes quick and let the car run wide. Fight it and you're likely to hit the concrete wall on the infield.

Invitation to enter this supersprint has been extended to non-CSCA club members. Apparently they have quite a few spots available.

The circuit is a bastard. You have to be concentrating the whole way, there is no let-up. but it is very rewarding, it tests your skills. Be patient with the rollercoaster. Especially up the top it can catch you unexpectedly even when you think you have done all the right things.

I rate this circuit highly as it makes you think.

Um ... Chris .... this one is on the North Circuit. I think you're talking about the South Circuit. There is PLENTY of time for a driver to think while lapping the North Circuit.

Well i was pretty happy with how my car went, but i couldve manned up a bit more and started to brake later into most of the corners.
Best time of the day was 1:19.05, first time on the north track im pretty happy with that time.
I can definately feel the 36mm restrictor choking the power in the top end, but still strong in the middle.
