Here's a few frame grabs of Bryan and my on track filming excursions at yesterdays club day. Bryan demonstrating the principles of weight transfer as only a stock NA can!
Big thanks to Bryan for his time and Mike for his help facilitating it... the footage is coming up looking great!

Great shots Stuart! Gotta admit, I was absolutely exhausted last night after combining Presidential duties, documentary stardom, and track competing. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your hard work. It was a bit disappointing that I didn't win class 1 (by 50 milliseconds!), but Rob was a very deserving recipient after playing catch up all day.

i left early and missed the outcome, did we beat the mexicans?

i had a good day beyond a leaking brake caliper, was quite surprised to beat my pb by nearly 1.5 seconds

Yes, we did, with some great class wins and many PBs.

A big thanks to Mark Hellmun for giving me the necessary driving tips I needed in order to beat him on the last run of the day after trailing him by 3 hundredths of a second for most of the day .A true gentleman gives the opposition the required information in order to beat their own time.I got down from a 1.06.97 to 106.80, only .05 of my best time of 1 06.75.Using a higher gear and trail braking into turn 4 and 5 up the top of the hill was the tip and it worked a treat.

Nice one Regie! Excellent photos.

Peter - Regie's hi-res photos are all available on Flickr already. It's easy to download them:

Also, after clicking on the photo in the gallery, a bigger one will come up.
You can right click on the picture and chose original, for the full size photo.

Also like this one.

Not only standard NA's do that. :D

Edit:
Was also looking through Victorian Rules for "Standard" NC's
Standard NC
This class is essentially for naturally aspirated MX5's from the NC series (2005 on).
Standard NC cars, with the exception of the Limited Edition, which has factory performance enhancements, are allowed no more than two modification s from the list below:
•intake (prior to throttle body)
•engine management system
•aerodynamics/bodywork
•anti sway bars
•cat back exhaust
•extractors and catalytic converter (note:a full exhaust system counts as two modifications)
•springs
•shock absorbers (note:coilovers with matching springs count as two mod

So the LE's have Bilsteins which are super soft, in NSW we say they are a disadvantage? So what is the 2nd factory mod on an LE NC that justifies a 2nd mod for standard NC's???
An NC with Springs and Swaybars would kill a LE NC. Note pic above.
