Hey what, I'm suppling the car, you bastards supply the fuel.

In all honesty, I think that the idea to run the 24hr wasn't thought through too well, just doing the figures $5400 for (6)drivers, 2 x helpers(refuelling, mechanical, coffee makers etc $1600.
Fuel and oils $1000, cost of car $999, cost of prep 4,000, tow it to NSW, accommodation, meals and odds and sods for 5 days $2000. total $15,000 divided between 6 drivers $2500. Lot of money if anything goes wrong in the first lap

Think I'll just do the National if I'm all sorted and the car is right as I have sponsorship to do the Nationals.

Out on a track with a bunch of lowest common denominator s$$theaps, with dodgy steering, wobbly suspension, cracked rotors and dead master cylinders, old sad hubs, cages on a budget, all coming into a corner....... No thanks.

If anyone wants to run this event, and they're looking for a car, I know of an NA6 for sale. $600, non complied import. I believe its rough as, a bit rusty in the a pillars and a few dents on the rear 1/4s.
