As mentioned, were organising a track day at Wakefield Park for our clients and race team sponsors/guests. I’d like to officially invite you to be part of the fun!
See the following information on the AGI SPORT track day to be held on Thursday November 15th 2012 below. I will also send the official entry form and Supplementary Regulations.
The day will run from 7am till 4pm with cars scrutineered and ready on track for 9am.
The track day is at Wakefield Park Goulburn with 4 groups of drivers. Novice, intermediate, experienced super sprinters plus a group of Drift cars with their own sessions. As there is strong interest from clients without any track experience, we may create two novice groups. Each group will have the opportunity to run in at least five sessions throughout the day.
There will be a break at 12pm for the Team Sponsors presentation and demonstration of our Formula 3 car. We’re currently looking at running our F3 car against the fastest Mitsubishi Evo we can find (from our client list). The contest will see an Evo taking off from the grid with a reasonable head start while our resident race driver Nathan Gotch will have to catch him in the F3 car over one lap. Much the same sort of demonstration (between an F1 car and a road based car) as they run at the Melbourne GP each year.
The ticket price for the track day is $120.
If you wish to bring partners or friends who won’t be competing themselves there will also be a limited amount of Hot Lap Ride tickets available so please get in early to book these. The hot laps will be in the AGI SPORT ride cars with race drivers Nathan Gotch and Nick Filipetto. Ticket prices for the Hot Lap Rides $70
A pre-ordered BBQ lunch is available at the cost of $15 or you can buy food and drinks from the canteen on the day.
Extra costs that may be incurred on the day include:
· $50 for a track licence if you do not already have a CAMS licence or AASA licence.
o Payable directly to the circuit on the day and is valid for $12 months.
· $30 for helmet hire if you do not already have a helmet
o Payable directly to the circuit on the day.
· $10 for a timing transponder should you wish your laps to be timed. (We will cover the cost of the professional timer and software to load to Natsoft.)
o Payable directly to the circuit on the day.
Official entry forms and Supplementary regulations will be available shortly. If you would like to join us in the fun then please reply stating your intention to enter. Places will be held for paid-up entries. Entries close 8th October, 2012.
