I'm planning on visiting Sandown for the NGK motorkhana at Jockey's carpark and the Sprint events on the main track.

So, how does it all work? Can I just rock up and watch? Is there a spectator's area around the circuit?

For the Motorkhana you can just rock up.
There should be a defined competition area (where the competition cars and officials are) the rest is open for spectators.
For the sprints I believe the pit area is open, not sure about any other access / vantage points.

What time does the event start and run up to? Am planning to rock up after running some errands

Sprint should run from 9ish to 4:30
Motorkhana from about 10 till 3:30

Bring on the Khana-Sprint..... Do a Khana test that runs into a lap of the racetrack and finishes with another Khana test! ;)

.. should be there late morning/noon. hope to see some familiar faces though since I'm fairly green to the crowd and only know a handfull

Entries are pretty low at this stage so we should get through all 10 tests

.. I'll post up my pics in a bit. where were u, Kenstaki? I managed to say hi to decitex64 (George) at the pits and saw de Bounce (Bob) doing his thing at the motorkhana track.

George was already on the track when I got there, just met Jeff(white na) and Bob found me!

ok.. i was there from 12:30 to 2:30pm, so not sure if we had crossed paths.
Fun nonetheless considering it's my first time down at Sandown
