New Social Captain for Victoria

Welcome Janette and congrats on the new committee role.

The trick to being a good "Social captain" is to delegate and co-ordinate. Try and get as many members involved in planning club events as possible.

We have a run that's always on the first Sunday of each month, http://www.mx5club.com.au has some documents to help our members plan and run and event. Feel free to take a look at them as see if there's anything that may assist the Vic club.

If anyone hasn't tried to convince you that the old style of "convoy" is dangerous you're welcome to chat with me, i'll show you that a properly designed "point to point" style of event is much safer and leaves the club less open to litigation. I think Sam, Al or David J will also be able to explain how we have changed things in W.A.
