Hahaha! Good one! Did not engage brain before typing. I meant combination of number of factors - date, other activities, and of course most importantly clearance from minister of home affairs.

I'm in! You confirmed Alex?

From memory it's just book but pay on the day right?

Is it like a speed off the streets day, or an organised event by a promoter?

It's like SOTS but with supervision.

They also have strict noise restrictions which are rigorously enforced.

Bryan: Yup! Confirmed. All prepped too; dropped the old oil and filter today too.

Yep just like Guran said; run by the people at MDTC. Very well run. They will take you for a track walk before you begin and give you pointers.

Passengers are allowed for driver training purposes.

I remember my first track day at a SOTS, signed in and straight onto the track, didn't even get told what lights meant what or the rules for overtaking !

Can someone confirm the cost?

$100 is very good price. But I am already booked in for a friends wedding for that date :x
If it is the same price I am keen to go there following event.

In!

Is it an open day or a private booking?

You've got to book, but pay on the day. It is $100 for the day, but like Wakefield, you buy a licence for the year for $30 ($50 at Wakefield).
