Yem11in and i are looking to cruise up to Pie in the Sky tomorrow morning if anyone is interested.

Aiming to leave North Rocks @ 830am and be there before 930am. If you're in the area drop by and say hi!

We'll hang around long enough to get a bite to eat, a chat and check out anything else on the road at that time before turning around and heading back to Sydney. Im likely to make a run through Galston Gorge and onto Mania.

Whatever you decide enjoy the weekend!

Thanks for hanging at the Pie while I drove via Mania (who are closed this weekend).

This was a great turnout considering it was pretty impromptu.
Good to meet most of you again, plus meeting yemiin for the first time and seeing Regie's 'day-old' NC!

Mrs explained that there have been 8-10 helicopters over Pennant Hills Rd this morning; the white HP cars came F3->PH Rd when I was doing that route home, so something's been going on somewhere. I'd suspect Carlingford if it's a road thing but who knows?

We should meat at the pie whenever we get this kind of day.

yeah good to catch up with some old faces, and meet some new ones

The HP cars were for some big bike gathering. I came down the F3 from Mooney after leaving PITS. There would have been 3000odd bikes with some HP cars around them. Up the front were 2 quad bikes with UK number plates...

Looks like it was another round of Long Way Down (Charlie Boorman - Ewyn McGreggor round the world ride)

but yeah lots of bikes in a convoy!

Great day for a drive. what started off as a meeting of 3 turned to 6, not bad for a last minute informal meet.

Nice to meet you all and see some very clean rides.

Oh man that would have been the quads!!

These 2 guys (one of the three unfortunately passed away on the journey) are doing a big quad ride around the world with proceeds going to Oxfam. Today was the only time that the Harbour Bridge is closed for motorbikes alone - that would have been great to see!

If anyone is interested, here is the link - it's a good cause - http://www.expeditiongroup.org/mission.html
