I'm wondering if there are any forum members say 100k either side of Port Macquarie who would be interested in doing the occasional run together.

Hi CoachOz,
In the hunter chapter we have a member whom is also in a sporting car club which has a few MX5s in Coffs Harbour. A little further north than the 100ks but they may do runs south. We also in hunter do runs up to Gloucester and even have gone to Armidale via Wachope to take in the Oxley Highway. Also we hope to plan a run Port Macquarie maybe early next year for a weekend......

Thanks for the info Mark. I'm planning on joining the club in November, so hopefully I'll get to meet some of your mob in the not too distant future. I'm also trying to get some MX drivers together in my local area - found three others so far.

Peter,

When you join the nsw club we can also get you some club business cards for windows or give personally to car owners. The hunter chapter does cover the area up to Coffs and if can get a few cars more than happy to orginise a run in near future. In meantime I think we are doing a run to gloucester region in November which will make it a little closer for you to attend. Keep up To date on the nsw website events page.
PS we personally get to Port regular as we have friends up there and go to places like Lake Innes winery and about Port on a weekend

Cheers

Thanks Mark

I'll keep an eye out for your Gloucester run, hopefully it won't be while I'm away in Victoria next month. Just arrived home from a trip to Wollongong. I decided to take the long way - up through Stanwell Park and Royal National Park, then the old Pacific Highway to Gosford and then the old road north from Bulladelah - the sun shone the whole way home!
