We are a definite maybe from Canberra but do people know that the pub is under new management? Found this online:
Sat, 03/09/2011 - 07:39 — shocking (not verified)
disappointed
Just went to The Stables 2 weeks ago, I have been going there for 20 years. The new owner has really let the side down. There's no food except burnt frozen pizzas, the service is abysmal to say the least and the prices are ridiculous. Atmosphere is gone and so have a lot of the locals.
Might be worth a recce run for anyone who wants to go and check it out, or asking around a bit further (or taking a picnic lunch).

If that is all there is at Wee Jasper these days

then we can grab a hot or cold beverage then head back up to Yass.
The object of the run is to meet up with the cars from the ACT at Gunning for breakfast (the main meal for the day) and run the road down to and back from Wee Jasper.
I am aware of some nice cafes with sidewalk seating in the main street of Yass but a suitable venue is dependent of the numbers that we need to get seated and served at the same time.
The run is weeks away but does anyone know of a suitable cafe or restaurant or club venue in Yass

The fall back position is Maccas in the Yass Service Centre off the highway where we have a dedicated fuel stop.

We have got a few goodies from our sponsors MX5 Mania to give away at breakfast at the Do Duck Inn.
