Hi guys,

Well as the title suggests how about an informal meet at Western Sydney International Dragway for some 1/4 mile fun!?

WSID is a easy drive just off the M4 in Sydney. I have been to these meets a few times and they are alot of fun, good mix of cars as well from Turbos, sh*t boxes to big block V8's. Plus with the cold weather its perfect for good runs!

Cost $50.

Entry time for Scrutineering 4:30pm.

Racing time 6pm-9ish pm.

Rules Long sleeved shirt and pants, approved helmet and brown undies (optional).

Dates Either 27th of July or Aug 3rd....whatever suits best for people who want to come.

Could also meet before or after for something to eat if people are keen, Shell and Caltex service station also close by for your fuel needs!

I took my manual Camry there a few years ago for a joke! It did a mid 19 second quarter mile

It's all about having fun....you get time slips at the end of every run so you can see if you need to work a bit more on your reaction time on the 'Christmas tree' or on gear changes etc.

Then you start doing things like folding in your mirrors and removing your spare tyre for that extra little bit of speed :p

Before you head out, Check your Helmets. My $900 Shoei helmet doesnt meet their standards, yet i can go next door to the circuit and do much quicker speeds.

if you head there your helmet has to have the 1698 AUS/NZ standard sticker, not just AUS on it

Ill just head to the shed and strap in 2 of the big ones and ill be there...

4:30pm start? Damn, I'd struggle with 8pm start really.
