Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
A thought occurs... has Galson Rd reopened yet?
If not, how is this going to affect the run?

I sent Jimi a PM about Galston Rd but he hasn't read it yet. Does anyone have his email address?

Hey all,
been away in Qld for the last 3 weeks with patchy internet access. Just saw that Galston Gorge will NOT be open according to the RTA, so we are at a crossroads (excuse the pun).
Although it is late notice, I think the start point needs to be changed to McDonalds, Dural. This is almost directly on the previously proposed route, but closer to the Putty Rd.
The Maccas is on the cnr of New Line Rd and Old Northern Rd, Dural.
Here is a map
Please do your best to inform anyone who is planning to come that the start point has changed.
Sorry again for the late notice, and I hope to see everyone there with a minimum of confusion!

Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
Hi everyone,
This is my first post, so I thought an introduction was in order. I'm Dominique, I joined the Mx5 club of NSW this year with my blue NB8B, I may have met some of you at the club practice day in June or the brass monkey run last weekend.
I'm looking forward to the Iceberg Run next weekend, hopefully there will be some fellow P-platers there
See you all bright and early,
Dom

Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
read in MX this arvo that the Galston Gorge is open one week before schedule. Can anyone confirm? Are we still meeting at Dural Maccas?

Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
Yep, confirmed! Just checked the RTA page, and Galston is all systems go!
So, after much confusion, back to the initial plan of Rofe Park, 6am and following the route described on p1 of this thread.
So sorry for the confusion (yet again) and be there early and without a roof - unless it's properly raining.
Cheers, and can't wait!
James
