Any excuse to run scoobys legs :) if we get James on board it will be 2 black SP 2 silver and one of each NC (barge).

Don't know about the race suits, no offence. It's a wedding day. I'd rather dress smart casual and just make sure the car is tidy.

My Only thought was that all we're doing is we're driving the Groom and groomsmen to the venue, nothing more, we are not attending the ceremony so thought is might be a little bit different. A few Photos after and Damn Galston Gorge and PITS on the way home

well it's kinda funny that you mention wearing race suits because with our cake pops, my character is actually wearing a stig-like helmet, so you guys wearing that would add to the personal touch! whatever is comfortable with yourselves!

white ribbons on cars would be great!!

Enjoy guys! It can be great fun - I had an Alfa convoy for my wedding (and thankfully none of our cars broke down, haha!). I'd join in if I wasn't so bogged down with other stuff.

To the groom, I can't offer you any advice that you don't already know...because it's too late!!! Hahaha! Seriously, congratulations, relax and take the day as it comes, then enjoy the rest of your lives together.

I think someone got cut off the list again.

Would someone mind fixing it? (I'm on my mobile)

I'll organise this propery with Melv when I'm back in town in 2 weeks.

In the meantime, lets work this list to at least 10-15 cars... I'm sure many of us would appreciate the idea of us would appreciate the opportunity to show off our mistresses at a wedding ;)

Melv - Would you mind PM-ing me with your mobile so that I can give you a call to arrange the details?

I'm thinking a convoy of MX5s for a wedding is a bad idea, whenever I take my car out for an errand I always end up going the long way because its just so fun to dive.

This could turn into an impromptu "club run" and instead of the bride being "traditionally late", the grooms-men may be even later :P

Few years ago, just before I bought my MX5, we went to Vanuatu for Sister Inlaws wedding.
It was in a large resort precingt and the bride was going to have to walk 500mtrs to get to the ceremony.
So for fun, i hired the only converatble available on the island.
Decorated it with palm fronds etc
It was great, even used it to pick the girls up from the hairdressor.
Only problem was, roof was up to protect them, on the way back down the corrugated drive, the fuses fell out from under the dash and we couldnt get the elect roof to open! Thankfully i found the problem.
Great car - Turbo with VTA blow off aswell

If it's windy on the day, the groomsmen can just say that they were going for the "Harry Styles" (One Direction) look:

Geez guys!! Reading this thread kinda brings a tear to my eye, genuine!

To want MX5's in the photoshoot is fantastic BUT, to have you guys organise this AND have his old car there as well .. that's just the icing on the cake!! Well done 'badbong'!!

I hope you all have the most fantastic day and I will be following this thread right thru .. can't wait to see the photos after the big day!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!
