Royal Natio Park Run

Postby marty085 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 7:22 pm

Anybody keen for a run through Royal National Park after dinner this evening (9pm approx)? There is not meant to be any rain this evening (5% chance) I think roads will be dry after a sunny arvo. Would obviously need somebody who knows it well. Don't know whether deer are active all night or just dusk? Last chance for a run before double demerits start midnight tonight until midnight Monday/Tuesday (October long weekend).

I got 4 new tyres so wanna try them out without killing myself :D

i know the road quite well :)

but with a combination of this afternoons rain/wind...there is going to be a lot of debris all over the road.

Deer...there have been a few sightings, but they usually run away as they hear you coming.

Watch out for cops at the Waterfall turnoff, ive seen them quite a few times even at night.

Id come for a run, but my tyres are shot...and i feel like a few beers this evening :P

Enjoy mate!

Haha no worries.

Good point re: wind. Debris = not good.

Also somebody parked their car across my work driveway in Norton St Leichhardt with a parking ticket on the dash paid until 8pm, so might not get there anyway. Blocking 3 cars inside. Council rangers, police and tow company can do nothing about it.

You didn't get done in the park though....

I just put new springs in my car... almost time for a repeat run.
