I haven't heard the other ones
But I have the Focal 165K2P excellent set of speakers
I have heard the Focal 165KPs one thing i don't like about them is the tweeters are harsh on my ears
I've heard that Focals are replacing there speakers soon with better more smoother tweeters
oh everything varies depending on what music you listen to? so what do you listen to?

actually combination of soft and dance.
the dealer showed me the Focal utopia and the entry level AVI XL......the tweeter on Focal a bit too strong, the AVI has a little bit more bass.

They're all top notch speakers, just comes down to what u think sounds best. focal utopias are the bees knees but mega dollars. around $2000 for some 6\"splits kinda money. in melbourne freeway car audio has mb and focal to listen to. don't know anyone with avi.

This really shows, how out of touch I am with audio gear. I haven't heard any of those brands.
I'm definately not an audiophile.

and these ones aren't the cream of the crop either. other top stuff are dynaudio, oz matrix, rainbow. all comes down to your budget and what your ears tell u sound good.

I have the Focals fitted to my 5, and together with an 8\"sub, the sound is just fantastic.
I've been a bit of an audiophile all my life, and to me, they sound superb.
Yes, the tweeters are a little strong, but if you listen to old rock like I do, they are perfect.
If I'm listening to \"new\" music, where they push the levels up all around, I just adjust the equaliser to lessen the high end, and the sound is still perfect.
If you're in Sydney, I'd be happy to let you have a listen to them, and when you hear them, you'll be sold!
Oh yes, I've now got the hi-fi to the point where I can easily enjoy it with the top down at 160km/h.
Fox-Force Five was over at my work today and he had a listen to it.
The shock on his face when the music started was enough to tell me that he was knocked out by them too.
What did you think of them Adam?
